Popular 1950's Hairstyles



















1950's Hairstyles












Hairstyles in the 1950's were all short.






It was very uncommon to see a girl with






long hair back then. all hair had to be






"done". What wasn't worn was the






natural curl we see today. Hair was






Short, soft, and curly.




















Popular Kid Hairstyles















Kid hairstyles in the 50's were much like





there parents hair. Girls had hair that was





worn in a Pixie hairstyle that was short like





much of the style then. Girls with longer





bangs used barretts to keep them away from





there faces. Or for a differant look girls cut short bangs




and hair was put up into a ponytail.




Longer parted hair with short sides





was the style used by young boys.






Teen Hair.




Teen Girls hair was never stright.

Some Girls would cut there hair into

a poodle cut wile other girls would pull

hair into a high ponytail. Boys Slicked hair

to the back with a short cut.
